Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Scrum Master to join our dynamic development team. As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for facilitating and guiding the Scrum process to ensure successful project delivery. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to foster a collaborative and productive work environment, remove obstacles, and ensure adherence to Agile principles and practices.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The candidate must work on facilitating daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning sessions, and retrospectives to ensure the team adheres to Scrum practices.
The candidate should be able to guide the team in self-organisation, promoting continuous improvement, and managing sprint deliverables effectively.
The candidate might be needed to remove impediments that hinder the team’s progress and coordinate with other teams to resolve cross-team dependencies.
The candidate will ensure that the Scrum process is followed and that the team is working within the Scrum framework.
The candidate will be held accountable for coaching team members on Agile methodologies and best practices, fostering a collaborative team environment.
The candidate will be required to implement strategies for improving the Scrum process and ensuring the team’s work aligns with the project goals and timelines.

Skills Required:

The candidate should possess skills for facilitating effective communication and collaboration within the team and with external stakeholders.
The candidate should know about Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
The candidate should possess an understanding of software development processes and lifecycle, enabling effective guidance and support for the development team.
The candidate will be required to have strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities to address challenges and maintain team harmony.
The candidate should possess skills for coaching and mentoring team members to enhance their Agile capabilities and improve overall team performance.
The candidate should know about various Agile tools such as Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps to manage and track project progress.
The candidate should possess an understanding of metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve team productivity and project success.
The candidate will be required to demonstrate leadership and influence without direct authority, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
