Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Scrum Master to join our dynamic development team. As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for facilitating and guiding the Scrum process to ensure successful project delivery. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to foster a collaborative and productive work environment, remove obstacles, and ensure adherence to Agile principles and practices.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- The candidate must work on facilitating daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning sessions, and retrospectives to ensure the team adheres to Scrum practices.
- The candidate should be able to guide the team in self-organisation, promoting continuous improvement, and managing sprint deliverables effectively.
- The candidate might be needed to remove impediments that hinder the team’s progress and coordinate with other teams to resolve cross-team dependencies.
- The candidate will ensure that the Scrum process is followed and that the team is working within the Scrum framework.
- The candidate will be held accountable for coaching team members on Agile methodologies and best practices, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- The candidate will be required to implement strategies for improving the Scrum process and ensuring the team’s work aligns with the project goals and timelines.
Skills Required:
- The candidate should possess skills for facilitating effective communication and collaboration within the team and with external stakeholders.
- The candidate should know about Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- The candidate should possess an understanding of software development processes and lifecycle, enabling effective guidance and support for the development team.
- The candidate will be required to have strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities to address challenges and maintain team harmony.
- The candidate should possess skills for coaching and mentoring team members to enhance their Agile capabilities and improve overall team performance.
- The candidate should know about various Agile tools such as Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps to manage and track project progress.
- The candidate should possess an understanding of metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve team productivity and project success.
- The candidate will be required to demonstrate leadership and influence without direct authority, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
